Coordination — Turn the brief into workable information
Align architectural layouts, structure, MEP routes, equipment positions and access requirements. Track open technical questions and obtain the approvals required by the agreed contract.
Procurement — Link lead times to work fronts
Coordinate approved selections, purchase timing, delivery inspections and protected storage. Identify long-lead equipment early and track changes that could affect the construction sequence.
Execution — Release and control work packages
Confirm prerequisites before each task. Coordinate labour, access, isolations and material availability with other trades. Track progress against the agreed work sequence and raise constraints early.
Inspection and commissioning — Verify individual and connected systems
Check concealed work before closure. Complete discipline tests before integrated functional checks, then record results, observations and retests against the agreed commissioning plan.
Close-out — Prepare the building for use
Close snags, clean the work areas, label systems and compile as-built drawings, test evidence and operating information. Handover identifies completed items and any agreed outstanding responsibilities.
