Coordination with other trades
A combined-services review aligns risers, plant rooms and ceiling zones. Electrical feeds, control points, drainage, fire-stopping and access clearances are assigned to the responsible trade so testing can progress through individual systems to integrated operation.
Testing, commissioning & handover
Follow the agreed inspection and test plan, record actual results, resolve observations and retest affected work. Assemble the accepted records with as-built information and the equipment schedules required at handover.

Quality assurance
The work package follows documented material reviews, method statements and inspection/test plans. Work inspection requests identify the location and drawing revision. Non-conforming work is recorded, corrected and checked again; as-built information and test records are assembled progressively.
Health, safety & environmental controls
Task assessments address lifting, access, simultaneous trades, pressure tests, isolations and commissioning boundaries. Inductions, permits, barriers, suitable PPE and competent supervision are matched to the actual activity. Work conditions and emergency access are reviewed as the site sequence changes.
Applications & sectors
The project brief establishes operating conditions, occupancy, access, durability and finish requirements. Phasing is planned around building users and adjacent work where premises remain occupied.

What does coordinated MEP information include?
