Technical scope & system components

Installation & execution
Establish the work fronts from coordinated drawings, verify material approvals and sequence installation around access, adjacent trades and inspection points. Protect completed work and maintain a current record of changes.

Coordination with other trades
Coordinate reflected ceiling plans with lighting, diffusers, sprinklers, detectors and access panels. Door schedules affect access control and fire strategy; kitchens and washrooms require aligned drainage, waterproofing and equipment connections.
Testing, commissioning & handover
Follow the agreed inspection and test plan, record actual results, resolve observations and retest affected work. Assemble the accepted records with as-built information and the equipment schedules required at handover.

Quality assurance
The work package follows documented material reviews, method statements and inspection/test plans. Work inspection requests identify the location and drawing revision. Non-conforming work is recorded, corrected and checked again; as-built information and test records are assembled progressively.
Health, safety & environmental controls
Task assessments address access equipment, dust, cutting, manual handling, chemical products and protection of occupants. Inductions, permits, barriers, suitable PPE and competent supervision are matched to the actual activity. Work conditions and emergency access are reviewed as the site sequence changes.
Applications & sectors
The project brief establishes operating conditions, occupancy, access, durability and finish requirements. Phasing is planned around building users and adjacent work where premises remain occupied.

Northern Emirates coverage

What makes a fit-out package turnkey?
An agreed integrated scope brings interior works and relevant building-services interfaces into one delivery package. Drawings, exclusions, design responsibilities and handover deliverables must still be defined clearly.
Why survey the base-build installation?
Existing dimensions, capacity, service positions and access may differ from assumptions. A survey helps establish usable conditions and identify changes before the new layout is finalized.
How are ceiling services coordinated?
Compare the reflected ceiling plan with lighting, HVAC, fire and ELV layouts. Resolve conflicts and preserve access to dampers, valves and equipment before ceiling closure.
When are finishes approved?
Material samples, schedules and any required mock-ups are agreed before repeated installation. Substrate readiness and junction details are checked as part of the finish sequence.
How are wet areas coordinated?
Align drainage, water supply, fixtures, waterproofing, floor build-ups and thresholds. Complete the required concealed tests before installing finishes that restrict access.
Can layouts change after first fix?
Changes need review for impacts on partitions, ceilings, services, fire strategy and the programme. Agree the revision and update the relevant drawings before extending the work.
What is checked during snagging?
Room-by-room checks cover finishes, fittings, access and the agreed service functions. Each observation is assigned, corrected and verified before the area is accepted.
What documents support fit-out handover?
The agreed package can include as-built layouts, product information, service test records, equipment schedules, operating instructions and the final snag status.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Share the project location, intended use, drawings or BOQ, scope boundaries and target programme. Existing-condition information and the proposed work windows help establish access, phasing and interface requirements.
How are changes during installation controlled?
Record the proposed change, review its effects on scope, adjacent systems and programme, and obtain the required agreement before execution. Update coordination records and as-built information to reflect the accepted work.
